Marc Molinaro: Toronto, Canada // 2020 Build intro
Like most knowledge workers in IT, I've been set-up at my home office during the pandemic. What could be a better time then now to delve into a new build. Cant believe its been nearly 6 years since my last build and post on my current rig. I've noticed a cadence of around 6 years between each new build I embark on.
For 2020 I've decided to go liquid cooled - the moment I saw a liquid cooled build I knew I had to attempt it - besides looking extremely dope, some research I found suggest a liquid cooled loop transfers heat much more affectively than air. Its also much more quiet which will be nice. Lets get into it.
My spec list (so far):
Case: Thermaltake view 37
I found this look to be really sweet - it kind of reminded me of a fish tank. Although I would have liked glass its still going to give the transparent look im going for.

Processor: Intel Core i9 - 10900K 10 Core 3.7 GHz
At least for 2 years ill be the big man on campus... if moore's law holds true.

Motherboard: ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XII FORMULA

RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance RGB Pro 128GB (4 x 32GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3600
Colourzzzz

HD: Western Digital WD BLACK SN750 NVMe M.2 2280 500GB (times 2)

I have a ton more smaller pieces like custom green cables, RGB controllers, fans, tubing etc that I wont bother showing.
My progress so far:
The hardest part of this whole build has been the tubing. I'm still in the process of bending the tubes and have already gone through one package full. Hoping to have the machine started up within the next few weeks. Due to the masses ordering computer parts i'm hoping to have the next set of fittings and tubing soon.
Stay tuned.
